June 13 - 9am worship Registration
Welcome!
United Methodists are
known as a people of open hearts, open minds, and open doors; so at a certain
level we chafe at asking people to request a reservation to attend
worship. But as United Methodists we are also deeply committed to the
ideal of serving the common good. In response to ongoing concerns about
COVID-19, and our desire to be a responsible member of the larger
community, we have adjusted our seating capacity so that the appropriate
physical distance can be maintained among those who choose to join us for
in-person worship. As conflicted as we may feel about requiring
reservations for worship, we would feel far worse, turning large numbers of
people away at the door on Sunday morning because they arrived after we had
already reached our maximum capacity. A reservation system takes the
guesswork out of the equation and provides greater clarity for
everyone.
You will be able to request a reservation Monday through Wednesday of each week and you will need to request a reservation each week that you would like to attend worship in-person. In an effort to be equitable about attendance, priority will be given to those requesting a reservation that did not attend worship on the previous Sunday. If you did attend on the previous Sunday you can still request a reservation and we will accommodate it as long as we have room. All those requesting a reservation will be notified no later than Friday, regarding the status of their reservation request.
We will continue to offer a meaningful online worship service each week that you can access here.
