Two Worship Services on June 13
Because we will still have COVID related attendance limitations on June 13, we are planning to offer two services that day in case there are more people interested in attending. One service will be at 9am and the other at 10:30am. While these will be Pastor Mike's last Sunday services at Foothills, the "goodbye" emphasis will be on the event that afternoon rather than Sunday morning to ensure that everyone is able to participate. If you'd like to attend in-person worship, reservation requests can be submitted starting Monday, June 7 as usual using the links below, or by phone. All other COVID related protocols and requirements will also remain in effect for in-person worship on June 13.
Select the service time below to register.
(Note that if the form does not appear Monday-Wednesday, the service you selected may be full.
You're welcome to contact the office to check.)
WE'RE WOrshiping with Fair Oaks THis Week
We're worshiping with our sisters & brothers at Fair Oaks United Methodist Church this week!
You're welcome to engage in the service through the video below, or directly on YouTube.
Journey
Youth are a very important part of our church family and we want them to feel welcome and safe, to learn about and be challenged by the Christian faith in a place where questions can be asked freely and no one is left out. Where they grow a strong faith.
Sunday School
Join us for Sunday School, starting in the 9:30am worship service.
All youth participate in the first part of the worship service. After the Children’s Message, kids and youth are led to Sunday School for the remainder of worship time. We have loving and enthusiastic volunteers who teach fun and interactive lessons each week. Youth may also remain in worship with their families if they wish.
11am Family worship
This worship gathering is designed for people who would like more freedom in creating the kind of worship experience they might need in any given week. A great opportunity for parents and grandparents who would like to worship together as a family with their children. We offer child and youth-friendly faith builders and activities during this service. Music from a spectrum of styles and genres offered by a trio of great musicians.
9:30am Sunday School
9:30am Worship & Children's Message
Children participate in the first part of the 9:30am worship service in the sanctuary. This service includes a Children’s Message, held especially for them up front with Pastor Mike or another church leader. After the Children’s Message, kids and youth are led to Sunday School for the remainder of worship. We have loving and enthusiastic volunteers who teach fun and interactive lessons each week. Children may also remain in worship with their families if they wish. We also have rockers just outside the sanctuary where moms or dads can rock or have the kids wander and play while still listening to the worship service.
Nursery - Preschool
Room 1 (Infants to Kindergarten)
We offer a professionally staffed nursery for our littlest ones. Loving arms, bouncers and swings keep the babies happy – while the toddlers enjoy games, crafts, toys and Bible stories that stimulate and entertain too! Parents can feel safe knowing that their children are being watched by certified and screened caregivers. We have pagers so that parents can be contacted in the sanctuary if their little ones need mom or dad for any reason. Lessons center around the basics of being kind and caring to others and the introduction of classic biblical stories.
Pre K - 2nd grade
Room 2
Our younger elementary kids use the Godly Play curriculum with Bible stories, time to wonder and re-enact the stories, games and crafts as well. Kids enjoy learning the age-old tales of the Bible while imagining themselves in the story! Prayer time and feast (snack) are included too. (Please let us know if your child has any food allergies.)
3rd-5th grade
Room 4
Our upper elementary kids dive deeper learning about the Bible, prayer, helping others, and so much more. We use lessons that are molded to the activeness of this group. Games, crafts, and fellowship time are also a meaningful part of Sunday school.

Sermon series
Law & Order
March 1- April 5
The Lenten season calls us to acknowledge the variety of ways we violate the will of God over the course of our living. As Christians, we believe that Jesus is the embodiment of God’s will and intention for us. This sermon series is designed to help us explore how Jesus understood what it meant to live in the will of God and how that can differ from our own thinking.
Epiphany
January 12, 9:30 & 11 AM services
You are invited to celebrate Epiphany with us by joining with the Wise Men
and bringing a "white gift" to honor the Christ Child. Please bring your gifts
from the list below wrapped in white paper, with you to worship on January
12. Gifts will benefit our Nomadic Shelter Guests and also those cared for
by the Center for Violence-Free Relationships.
