Families Serving Together
Foothills provides various opportunities throughout the year for families to serve others through projects, prayer, and donations.
Parents group is a parents only group of children newborn to seniors in high school. We meet at a group member's house to share a potluck dinner and fellowship. This group meets every other month and coordinates that month with Parents' Night Out in case the parents are in need of childcare.
Parents' Night Out
Parents' night out is a free service hosted by some of the grandparents in our congregation. During this time parents are invited to drop their children off with the volunteers and go have some grown up time. The children will be served dinner and will participate in games and crafts.
In partnership with local school districts, we provide “Back to School” Backpacks and essential supplies for families who otherwise cannot afford them. We ask for members of our congregation, big and small, to help buy supplies and stuff the backpacks. This event is held in the beginning of August.
Foothills creates a fun, safe place for kids to trick or treat right here in our parking lot. Visit us to check out some spook-tacular decorations, games, and treats.
Hanging of the Greens
Bring your friends and family as we prepare the sanctuary for Christmas. This fun evening features crafts, ornament making, cookie decorating (and eating!), tree trimming, carol singing, potluck goodies, a visit from Santa, and more.
