Youth are a very important part of our church family and we want them to feel welcome and safe, to learn about and be challenged by the Christian faith in a place where questions can be asked freely and no one is left out. Where they grow a strong faith.
Join us for Sunday School, starting in the 9:30am worship service.
All youth participate in the first part of the worship service. After the Children’s Message, kids and youth are led to Sunday School for the remainder of worship time. We have loving and enthusiastic volunteers who teach fun and interactive lessons each week. Youth may also remain in worship with their families if they wish.
- Middle School - Room 8 (6th - 8th Grades) The Middle School program is all about being yourself and living in a fun and gracious way! Spirited discussions about real life topics, acting out stories and lessons, biblical readings, and stories of youth who make a difference in lives of others, make up this great class.
- High School - Room 5 (9th - 12th grades) The High School program is all about understanding and strengthening your relationship with God. Lessons take real life issues and give you ways to explore and deal with them from a Christian perspective. Through fellowship, prayer, service projects, and spiritual formation, we want you to be empowered to be yourself and know you always have a home in Christ.
This group focuses on service and fun within a Christian-centered life. There are many opportunities to be together and have fun, and many opportunities to help in the community through service endeavors. Youth Group is a great place to bring friends! No church affiliation required. This groups helps form friendships that last and are times for those with any uncertainty about faith to be immersed in agape love in a non-intimidating group living by Christian action.
Youth in 9th grade or above are invited to join our Confirmation Class held every other year, which will lead to the opportunity to make a personal confirmation of faith. This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen one’s personal faith, and how to share it in the community. Find out more about Confirmation 2020.
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. -
1 John 3:18
