Prayer & Care

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.  - John 13:34

Prayer Chain

Our prayer team is a group of men and women who pray for the concerns and praises of our church members and their family and friends.  Prayer requests are passed on to members of the Prayer Team by e-mail.
To be included in the prayer e-mails, contact the church office.

Prayer Ministry Team

Join us as we hold those in our congregation and community in prayer.

Stephen Ministry

The mission of Stephen Ministry is to help congregations equip God's people for spiritual growth and Christ-centered, practical ministry in today's world. Stephen Ministers are dedicated people who listen without judgement, keep confidences, pray with, and walk along side of people who need them.  If you are in need of a Stephen Minister to help you through a current life challenge, please contact Pastor Dave or the church office.

Stephen Ministers take 50 hours of training along with a lot of reading at home to prepare themselves to provide one-on-one distinctively Christian care for our church family and community.  If you're interested in becoming a Stephen Minister, contact Roxie Tolbert, 530.621.2565.

Bereavement Fellowship

For those who have experienced the loss of a loved one, or the breakup of a significant relationship, Foothills UMC has developed the Bereavement Fellowship. This fall we will be meeting each 2nd Sunday after worship for lunch and conversation.

People Care

The Member Care team provides various services for our members in need.  Services include meals, transportation, communion for homebound members, grief care, and devotional materials.
